A little over a year ago, I along with my husband Joe, visited out west, and fell in love! I hope to someday relocate to the Wyoming/Utah area, much to the dismay of my daughter, Missy, who has her own website. I love western style, she dislikes it. Her site specializes in Breast Cancer Awareness products and unique gifts.
Since there are so many corporations supporting Breast Cancer, and everywhere you go, you see the same items over and over, I decided to make western style hats, with a 'pink ribbon' theme, and to make each one different. Needless to say, they are a huge hit. From there the creative influence started, and everywhere I go, something triggers an idea.
From the more traditional natural colors of the 'western style', I now include the 'gambler style' hat in a large variety of colors from muted pastel and two-tone, to deep rich jewel tones. The hat materials also are varied, from straw to felt and wool. I use many different materials and textures, feathers, faux fur and unending embellishments to create each individual hat. I am a believer in protecting the environment, so when I can, I rededicate and incorporate materials into the hats.
I also take special orders.
