We provide an unending assortment of styles, colors and awareness themes. In this section I address many of the issues closest and dearest to our hearts, other than Breast Cancer, which has its own category.
Ribbon Colors; what they represent
PINK: Most commonly associated with breast cancer awareness,
this ribbon is also a symbol for birth parents, and childhood cancer awareness.
PURPLE: Symbol of all cancers, pancreatic cancer, domestic violence, ADD, Alzheimer's, religious tolerance, animal abuse, the victims of 9/11 including the police and firefighters, Crohn's disease and colitis, cystic fibrosis, lupus, leimyosarcoma, and fibromyalgia.
TEAL: This color is a symbol for ovarian, cervical, and uterine cancers as well as sexual assault, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and tsunami victims.
YELLOW: Color used to support our troops, MIA/POW, suicide prevention, adoptive parents, amber alerts, bladder cancer, endometreosis, and a general symbol for hope.
GRAY: This color is for asthma, brain cancer, brain tumor.
BROWN: This color is for anti-tobacco, colon cancer, colorectal cancer & rectal cancer.
GREEN: Bone marrow donation, cerebral palsy, depression, environment, glaucoma, kidney cancer, literacy awareness, mental health, mental retardation, mitochondrial disease, organ & tissue donation organ transplant, safe driving, save Darfur, spinal cord injury research, stem cell research, Tourette's Syndrome. traumatic brain injury & worker safety.
ORANGE: Agent Orange, cultural diversity, hunger, leukemia, lupus, melanoma,
motorcycle safety, multiple sclerosis, racial tolerance & self-injury.
WHITE: Adoption, blindness, bone cancer, bone disease, child exploitation, community support,congenital cataracts, hernia, Holocaust Remembrance, hope & support, innocence, molestation survivor, osteoporosis, Peace, postpartum depression, scoliosis, stalking, date rape, teen pregnancy prevention & Victims of Terrorism.
RED: AIDS/HIV, cardiovascular disease, congenital heart defects & disease, congestive heart failure,courage & inspiration, DUI, heart disease, hemophilia, high blood pressure, inhalant abuse, Love, lymphoma, stroke, substance abuse & tuberculosis.
BLUE: Prostate cancer, lymphoma, Epstein-Barr, tuberous sclerosis
complex, child abuse, foster care awareness, bone marrow donations, drunk driving, Save the Music, arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, colitis & Crohn's disease, education, free speech, Hospice, Huntington's Disease,
